Isn’t it the most frustrating thing when the item that you knew you could depend on most just stops working? And even more frustrating the fact that every single thing you knew about fixing it went out the window?
Such was the case with Firefox this morning, and I’ve never been more perturbed by the malfunction of a piece of free software. It turns out that I had installed an outdated Firefox addon using Nightly Tester’s Tools, causing the crash and thus requiring a clean reinstall. Losing bookmarks and cookies becomes secondary when the very browser that feeds your content just the way you expect it to goes kaput.
Regardless, order in the world has finally been restored. You truly do not realize how much you need things until they are suddenly out of your reach.
